What stays on the floor

Privacy notice

WIN STATS is a performance record, not a portrait of who you are. This notice is written for people who lift — and who would rather not watch their identity travel farther than a set of numbers.

Effective 4 September 2026 Publisher Amol Life App WIN STATS

The short version

Aditya Prabhakar, operating as Amol Life, does not harvest a personal dossier from this Android app. We do not ask you to build a public profile, we do not run a social feed, and lifters do not hand information to other lifters through WIN STATS. There is no inbox between users and no marketplace of bodies.

What the product actually needs is much smaller: a unique identifier so the same device can receive the reminders you allowed and so crash-free tracking can tell one installation from another. That identifier is not your name, not your email, and not your phone number.

What we do not collect

We do not collect names, home addresses, payment cards, government IDs, precise location trails, contacts from your address book, or photos of you. We do not sell lists. We do not stitch together a marketing profile of your life outside the gym. If a field is not required to log a lift, run the league table, send a reminder you opted into, or generate the text you asked for, it is not our business.

What stays local

Session totals for sets and training volume are calculated on the device while you work. Your exercise history, weekly league positions, units (kilograms or pounds), experience level, training goal and reminder preferences exist to run the product for you. They are not an excuse to assemble a dossier about your health for resale.

The unique ID

The ceiling on identification is a unique ID used for tracking and push delivery. Think of it as a locker number, not a passport. It lets the app recognise the same installation across sessions and lets a notification service find the correct device when you have asked for a workout reminder. It is not used to introduce you to other users, because users never exchange data with each other in this app.

Third-party services

A handful of specialist companies sit behind the curtain. They are third-party services. Their own notices apply to the work they perform. We do not pretend their servers are ours.

  • Firebase (a Google product) is used for app infrastructure — things such as keeping the product running, understanding whether it is crashing, and delivering the technical backbone. Firebase is a third-party service. What it processes is governed by Google’s privacy documentation, not by a promise we invent for them.
  • OneSignal is used for push notifications. OneSignal is a third-party service. It relies on a device-level unique ID so a reminder can reach the phone that asked for it. We do not attach your civil identity to that pipe in order to build a mailing list of strangers.
  • OpenAI is used to generate written responses: session summaries, plateau flags, rematch cards, opponent lines and next-session advice. OpenAI is a third-party service. When a review is requested, the app sends the text of the training message — the exercise names, weights, repetitions and the short prompt needed to write that review. It does not send your name, email, phone number, or a bundle of personal life details. You submit the lift. You do not submit yourself.

Those companies are not “us with extra steps.” They operate under their own terms. If you want the letter of their practices, read their published privacy statements.

Why any text leaves the phone at all

The league table and the local math do not require a biography. The AI review does require the session you just typed, because a model cannot comment on a bench press it has never been shown. That is the bargain, and it is deliberately thin: training text in, generated coaching copy back. No side-channel of private facts.

Children

WIN STATS is aimed at adults who train with a barbell, not at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone who should not be using the product.

Retention and control

We keep technical identifiers only as long as they are useful for the functions above — stable notifications, install recognition, and keeping the product from falling over. You can revoke notification permission in the Android system settings. You can stop using the app. If you want a stored identifier removed from our side of the pipe, write to the address below and say so in plain language.

Changes

If the product grows a new pipe, this notice will grow a new paragraph. The date at the top of the page is the date this wording took effect. Continued use after an update means you have had a chance to read the new floor rules.
